Seeking Within the Barriers to Love

A Course in Miracles states “It is not your job to seek for Love but rather to seek within yourself all the barriers you hold against its coming”. As I ponder that the past few days, I am struck but something, that Love is coming. Because really, Love is all there is. Love is the force that created the universe. Love is the force that makes Oak trees out of acorns. Love is the lifeblood of all that is. Love is the essence of you and me. Love is already here. All around us.

And yet we have so many barriers to it. Any story that we believe about who or what we are; is a barrier. Any wounds or trauma that we hold onto; is a barrier to Love. Anything that we learned about who we are based on what other people thought or did; is a barrier. Every place that we protect ourselves or dim our light or hide; is a barrier to Love. We all have barriers to love, each one of us. Some of those barriers are conscious, meaning we know about them. Some of those barriers are unconscious and we do not yet know about them. Some barriers are energetic, others are thought forms or beliefs. Some barriers are generational, barriers that our family has had for generation after generation; barriers that were taught energetically, emotionally, physically, mentally. So many barriers. Another way to say this is so much healing to do.

When we heal our issues, our wounds and our unrecognized beliefs; we make room to vibrationally hold more Love and Light. Perhaps a better way to say it is, when we heal, we become more fully who we really are. We open to and surrender to the Love that is our true essence.

One of the ways to do this healing work is through sound. Sound has the power to bring the unconscious forward to be healed and released. Sound has the power to clear away energetic blocks or barriers to being your authentic self. Sound and vibration can bring the bodies back into alignment, allowing us to hold more light, more Love. Light Language has the power to activate, attune and initiate deeper levels of understanding, wisdom and healing.

Tomorrow night, on the Equinox, as we still bask in the energy of the Full Moon, I would invite you to join me for a Sound Healing Bath as we open to the healing transformational energies that will be coming in for our personal and collective evolution. As we willingly let go of the barriers we hold to love; we allow the healing energies and sounds to bring us back in to divine alignment and balance. Balance of the light and the dark within; the feminine and masculine within and spirit and the physical. Together we align with Divine intent, with the Love that powers the Universe and blast our co-creative intentions through the equinox portal opening to our new reality.

Seeing from a Higher Perspective

Time seems to be flying by and there is so much going on lately in our world that I felt called to talk to you about how you are processing those things right now. Of course, the first step is to recognize and accept how we are feeling. Sometimes that can be hard, we are so used to “pushing thru” that we often can’t name what we are feeling, we just know that something is off or that we feel yucky.  

One way to get in touch with your feelings is to journal. Give yourself the prompt of right now I am feeling…. Set a timer for 5-8 mins. Then just let yourself write, no editing, no trying to understand, just write. Let whatever needs to come out, flow through your pen.  Afterward, allow yourself to read and deeply listen to what the body had to share. You may want to journal again, more purposefully this time about ways to cope with those feelings or your plan to meet the needs you see within.

Another way to tune in to your feelings is to go out in nature. Go for a leisurely walk with the intention of getting in touch with yourself and your feelings.  The trick here is to clear the mind and be open to what Pacha Mama has to say/show us. Taking a leisurely walk while thinking about your to do list, won’t help. We have been so trained to think, think, think. I’d invite you to decide and imagine/sense/feel dropping down into your heart space at the beginning of the walk and intend to be curious and open.  

After we have gotten in touch with our feelings and taken time to care for our needs; we can choose and begin seeing from a higher perspective. How do we do that? We simply take a few deep breaths and ask to see this from a place of Love or Higher Consciousness. 

Now if you’re wondering who you are asking, that’s up to you. You could ask your Higher Self. You could ask the Universe. You could ask Spirit. You could ask your helpers and guides. You could ask Gaia. You see, we are all one. Therefore, asking is asking all that is; is asking the Love that created the universe, the Love that makes the planets revolve around the Sun. The Love that makes trillions of cells form a human or a tree or a cat. Love is infinite. Love is who you are at your core; behind all the stories your mind tells you. Love is who we all are!! So ask whomever feels right to you; ask to see from a higher perspective. 

Or you could simply say, I am willing to see this differently. Willingness and intention open the door to step into a higher awareness, where everything is seen more.

Rosemary Medicine Calling

A few days ago I was led to put rosemary in our ceremonial crystal grid. Throughout circle I kept rubbing and smelling the sprig I saved for myself. Since then, I find myself doing the same thing, smelling the rosemary… over and over.

So I thought I should stop and ask why. What is rosemary trying to tell me? Sometimes we call on the medicine of an herb or other plant. Sometimes they call us. And clearly Lady Rosemary is calling me today.

Of course, my logical mind wants to “go look it up” and “see what the people that know think”. But as I took another sniff I heard her say, why don’t you ask me.

Well, duh! The first thing she reminded me was that when we call on a medicine, be it plant or animal, we call to all of them. Because they are one. The second thing she reminds me is when we, you and I, smell or enjoy a plant, in a way that opens our heart; we send love to that plant. The plants actually feel us loving them. And their sense of purpose is impassioned. So, as I took another deep inhale of her magical essence; I smile because I know I am connecting to all the Rosemarys around the world and that they can feel my love!!!

With the next inhale, I find myself fully in the moment. Rosemary’s essence helps us to be more present, more in the moment. We know that is where the magic lives, in the moment. We all know that Rosemary is well known for bringing clarity, but this seems a little deeper, more profound clarity of the moment of being present.

And as I keep breathing in her goodness, I feel my nervous system slowing down, my breath becoming a little slower, and I feel more relaxed. I notice that my Third Eye seems a little more clear, more attuned.

Suddenly I feel my roots shooting down into the earth, down into Pacha Mama and find myself feeling deeply grounded and centered. My crown opens and I feel the light from above and below beginning to flow through me.

With the next inhale, she tells me that plant medicines are evolving, as we do, as the Mother does. That the medicine needed in this powerful time is a little deeper and offers more transformational energies to those who are open and searching.

She also tells me that they, the plants and the animals, love to work with us individually. She explains more, that the medicine she brings to each person can be more specifically attuned to the person, provided that we are open and curious. We tune out that attunement when we are stuck in thinking we already know what she offers.

She reminds us to approach all of creation with a beginners mind. To be open to all the possibilities, knowing there are things we can’t even yet imagine possible. She encourages us to approach each other with that same beginners mind, the place of “I don’t know but I want to”. Being open to all that is possible. All that wants to be present with us in this moment.

I hope that during this time of transformation, you will take time to go outside and connect. Connect with the Mother! Connect with her many amazing kingdoms! And connect with Rosemary, see if she helps you to feel more present and open.

Here’s Liz Simmerman’s latest painting. (See more about Liz at Reiki Divine Energetics) To me this painting speaks of the new, higher connection to the grid of Universal Love and Unity. We are being asked to clear away more and more of what no longer serves, so that we can connect at a higher level.

Why? Because creation is calling us to be of service, to anchor in and share the Love the is ever abundant, but often overlooked. And as times feel harder and so many still suffer, Light Workers are being asked to step up and shine….

Shine the Love of the Universe, of Creation. Shine so bright that it radiates around the world, all the while believing that Heaven on Earth can happen! One life, one light at a time.

Pacha Mama Code (Mother Earth Code)

 My amazing friend, Liz Simmerman of Reiki Energetics, painted this amazing painting for me last April. One day, shortly after she gave it to me, I was meditating with it and started singing a song of sorts. I call it a Light Language song.

This song was the first of several. And I had such fun, during that time. Then, suddenly, it seems I completely forgot about it, singing these songs that is….

Today I was guided to meditate with my painting. When I did I was also guided to listen to the song I had recorded so long ago. So, I did. Today, it seems the activation was even stronger than last.

And then I was guided to share them both, the painting of the Pacha Mama Code and the Song. And so I am… I hope that you can take 4 minutes in quiet and meditate on the amazing code while you listen to my little diddy. And, please, share your thoughts, feelings, experiences… I sang a new song to Liz’s newest painting last week. Maybe if I get really brave I’ll share it to. Until then…
