Ease and Grace?

Ease and Grace?

Sitting outside, connecting with Pacha Mama, on this 60 degree February morning, marveling at the first glimpses of spring starting to peek out. When a crow caught my attention, cawing, as if to say transformation is at hand. My first thought was Great Spirit let it be with ease and grace please!  And I immediately heard… Why don’t you just choose the easier way, just let go and trust.

Wow! Right? What if I just take the next step that is in front of me? Rather than trying to find another way. Or worrying about “what ifs”. Or concerning myself with how that person might feel or what might happen there. What if I /we just trusted; trusted our self, trusted Spirit.

What if the ease and grace comes from our decisions, our choices. Choosing to stay connected, choosing to follow the nudging and synchronicities. Choosing to let go of things that are not good for us, the people, situations, past hurts, resentments…. Maybe the struggle, the suffering, the confusion comes from trying to figure it all out. From the need to “know”.

Today the crow came to say trust; trust that part of you that is divine, that part that is connected to All That Is. With a beginners mind, take the next step presented and trust. Instead of asking for Ease and Grace, let’s give our selves the freedom to live in ease and grace. Isn’t that who we really are?

Much Munay!

Deer Medicine

What magnifican creatures! Deer captures our attention with its beauty and grace. And the mighty stag is a symbol of the heart and is often used to represent the Goddess. When deer comes into our life they remind us to sink deep into who we really are, at our heart… that place of innocence, deep love and grace. They remind us to live in equanimity, in balance. And to spend time in meditation, facing into the depth.

Deer are one of the most adaptable mammals; they live on all but one continent and in every climate. Flexibility, adaptability is at the core of our spiritual path. To find Spirit in each moment we have to be willing to let go of every thing we think we know; to look again with wonder and curiosity. Deer medicine assists us in our ability to go with the flow. Call in Deer is you feel your getting stuck in a rut or struggling with change.

The gentleness, innocence and grace of the deer mystify many. Deer reminds us to offer gentleness and grace to others and ourselves. As we do our personal work, the work of looking within, facing our shadow, embracing our own Divinity; we must approach our selves with gentleness, compassion and grace. This stance allows us to embrace all of ourselves, even our shadow parts. Bringing us more into fullness and freedom.

Antlers are symbolic of antennae; connecting to higher realms and symbolize Higher Wisdom. Reminding us to pay attention to inner feelings, intuitions. Stags shed their antlers  every year; symbolizing new perspectives and gentle growth. The antlers grow from behind the eye, further strengthening the message to pay attention to inner sight.

Our ancestors included deer in their stories and myths to represent new beginnings. Call Deer to help usher in new phases with innocence, gentleness and flexibility.

Emerging Grid Portal

Emerging Grid Portal by Liz Simmerman
Emerging Grid Portal by Liz Simmerman of Reiki Divine Energetics

Here’s Liz Simmerman’s latest painting. (See more about Liz at Reiki Divine Energetics) To me this painting speaks of the new, higher connection to the grid of Universal Love and Unity. We are being asked to clear away more and more of what no longer serves, so that we can connect at a higher level.

Why? Because creation is calling us to be of service, to anchor in and share the Love the is ever abundant, but often overlooked. And as times feel harder and so many still suffer, Light Workers are being asked to step up and shine….

Shine the Love of the Universe, of Creation. Shine so bright that it radiates around the world, all the while believing that Heaven on Earth can happen! One life, one light at a time.

Liz and I would be honored if you could take a few minutes to listen and meditate on the painting and open yourself to this new higher amazing connection… and let your light shine.

Let us be the Change! And so it is! Ho!

Much Munay (Love)!

Four Legged Wisdom; Lessons for Living

Going outside with a cup of coffee. Needing to ground, to let go… To connect to Pachamama, the mother. To creation. To the powerful deeply rooted trees, that are just starting to show the tiniest bud, the promise of things to come. To Inti TiTi, the beautiful sun, as it turns the sky pink and purple, bidding farewell unti tomorrow. To the birds that are busy scurrying and singing the songs of spring. To all the four legged creatures that are enlivened, inspired by that same promise of new life. Feeling so grateful and grounded; at peace…

And charging around the corner comes, Pablo, my beloved four legged, chasing his arch nemesis (nemeses in plural?) the squirrel. And the thought came to me. What if we all lived life like Pablo?

What if we loved with our whole heart, our whole being? Never holding a grudge. Never letting a bad day get in our way.

What if we chased the most important thing (or the squirrel) with everything we have, with every drop of love in our soul?  What if we have a whole hearted intention to transform; ourselves and as a drop in the ocean, the world and we never stop chasing that, no matter how many times we miss the mark?

What if we take risks, (like trying to follow the squirrel up the tree or speaking vulnerably and authentically from the deepest part of ourselves) knowing that our growth will come from those risks. Knowing that to truly Become,  we must risk being vulnerable, transparent, authentic…

What if we begin every moment with complete and utter belief that any thing is possible?  Leaving behind all of the limitations we think we already know? Using every “failure” or miss step as information to improve, to grow, to transform?

What if we always share our love, attention, affection with those we love? Always, no matter what. Because we know that we live in them even more than we can imagine.

What if we listen with our whole being? What if we smell every smell as if it is important? What if we could be, right here, right now, completely? What would we see? What would we sense? What would we know?

And what if we never held on to hurt feelings? Or anger? What if we live in constant resolution? Always clearing up any tension or misunderstanding?

And then when it’s time to rest. What if we really rested. Completely let go of all the cares of the day and sank into being? Just being. Knowing that we need rejuvenation, renewal, stillness; to be fully ready to do it all again tomorrow.

We are told that we, humans, are higher beings, we posses the ability to reason, create, communicate… And those are absolutely wonderful things! But what if we join our gifts with these practices that are mistakingly called “lower”. What if we whole heartedly live into what my teacher, Craig Hamilton calls “Principles of Evolutionary Culture”  but Pablo calls living, being? How would the world change? How would our corner of the world be different? How would we impact the people we love, everyone we meet? And beyond our little corner, could all of creation be changed? Could we, you and I, begin to bring Higher Consciousness into the world? Could we begin to bring Heaven to Earth? Could we be a catalyst in the next phase of Human Evolution?

As I sense into these questions, something arises in me that feels like a big Yes! Yes we could, yes we can change our lives! Yes we can live beyond limitations! Yes, we can change the world, as we change ourselves!

That is our mission, that is our purpose here, to allow Higher Consciousness to guide us, to shine through, to touch others. And if I, if We, chase that belief with everything we have, just like Pablo chases the squirrel, we can make the world a better place. I’m stating my intention firmly there.  Will you join me?

With love,

Autumn & Pablo
